1.) Define the term ‘moral integrity’Moral integrity. Moral integrity is a complex and subtle ethical notion. It is central to all the other characters but more fundamental than any single virtue. The root of the term integrity is wholeness. Moral wholeness rather than rigidity best captures the idea of moral integrity. For example, a person might discover that some long-held ethical belief, attitude or rule of conduct was mistaken because the person came to see that it was incompatible with other, more fundamental ethical commitments.

2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity.Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity because he said that we are all individual so that means we all should be treated equally because we all can do amazing things if we put our minds to it. He said that everyone should have justice, this was shown at the concentration camp because he gave his life to save a young soldiers life. After Maximillian death people talked about what he did, they also say that he showed how great his love can go.

3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz. One ethical action Maximillians showed was that no love has boundaries; this means that he put his own life to save someone else’s. Another example of a ethical action he showed was about helping people in need, he showed this through calming people around him and talking to them, this gave them comfort and hope.

4.) Evaluate whether you think he made the right decision and provide research to support your answer. I.e. Catholic teachings.Maximillian showed a Catholic teaching, which was to put other peoples need in front of selfish ones, helping people in dire need was his way of getting a good name. I think he made the right decision because now the man can tell the story of how he lived through the camp. One of the selected men, Franciszek Gajowniczek, he was saying that he had a family, and then Kolbe volunteered to take his place. During the time in the cell he led the men in songs and prayer. After three weeks of dehydration, only Kolbe and three others were still alive. Finally he was murdered with an injection of carbolic acid. Kolbe is one of ten 20th-century martyrs from across the world that is depicted in statues above the Great West Door of Westminster Abbey, London. He was canonized by Pope John Paul II on October 10, 1982 in the presence of Gajowniczek.

Journal Entry 1.

2.6 characteristics you would find in a inspiring person would be, love compassion, peaceful, communicative, friendly and smart.

3.These 3 pictures inspire me because they show something that nature has to give to the world, this includes: beauty, freshness, completion and compassion to keep this beauty for the generations to come.

Social Studies

Journal 1.

1. I will organize my sales pitch into 4 sections, the entertainment, the sales, the reasoning and the conclusion with ending  credits. The entertainment wil be funny to get the audiences attention so that we have more of a chance to get them to buy. The sales which means we start to give reasons why they should buy our product. The reasoning comparing our information to other sites and gorups. the conclusion we give a picture for entertainment and to show what we are talking about, with the end credits just to show who contributed.

 Journal 2.

1. The research is going very well because the group is contributing with their research and also to group discussions. The research is very precise, we have been following the rubric which should guide us in the right direction.

2. i known that imovie is a simple form of windows movie maker, this is simple because it doesnt have as much features as windows movie maker. thats all i know abuot imovie.

Journal 3.

1. I have made changes to the story, the last 4 frames were ment to be a medium shot of me (Daniel), but now we chnaged it to be a screen shot with a voice over aying why our Britannica would be the best. The pictures will have to be edited because if it is dull we would lose people attention but if we edit it they will laugh and enjoy it.

2. It tells that Australia has had many changes over the last 10-20 years, meaning Aboriginals being included in festivals and also the technology has increased heaps which means that in the next 20 years there will be a huge change in everything.

3. We havent discussed any techiniques, we just want it simple so that everyone will understand (our “ad” is targeted to all age groups) this is a positive because then everyone would watch it (if funny enough) people want to watch it again so that means that it wil be a BIG hit.
